GDSE Theme Update
09 Jul 2011
I know I just created a theme not long ago but it never sat with me right. So I will be playing around with the site theme and features. I will be testing out a new links directory and search engine replace the current ones. Pardon the errors, if you run into them. Thanks.

Spider Robinson Back Online
24 Feb 2011
The improvements in features for the GDSE are coming along. I’m currently running tests with our new web spider: Robinson. He will be indexing several of the major game development websites over the next few days. Once done, GDSE will have its own search engine again.
GDSE’s on Track
16 Jan 2011
That’s right. The Game Development Search Engine is back on track with a new locomotive theme. I hope you like it. It will continue to evolve as I add new features and work some of the kinks out. But in the meantime … All Aboard!
Under the Hood: Sphere 1.5
16 Jan 2011
Sphere is more than just a bad Dustin Hoffman movie. It is an open source game engine and IDE that saw its beginnings as far back as 1998. Its original purpose was to create an easy-to-use development environment for RPG developers. It comes with Map, Sprite and Script editing all in a single integrated development environment. Sphere is meant mainly to develop 2D games but has some limited support for 3D.

Directory Now Open
30 Oct 2010
The GDSE Directory is open and taking resources from the community. I am reviewing resources myself and will be adding many new links out of the thousands that existed in the GDSE archive. Also, the look of the directory will change as it doesn’t fit with the look of the site yet. Once I get the new theme ironed out, the directory will be reworked.
Hold onto Your Hats
29 Sep 2010
Your construction hat that is. I’ve finally settled on a theme look. However, it will take some time to hammer everything into place. I’m going to develop the theme live so if the site looks a little odd at times, it could just be me messing with the CSS and graphics. Give me a few days and hopefully the new site looks will fall into place.
